MOON SIGHTING: Saudi Arabia Continues Fasting, Declares Monday For Salah by musquareni(op): 5:22pm On Apr 30, 2022*

The 2022 Ramadan fasting for the Muslim faithfuls continues tomorrow in Saudi Arabia and in the UAE as the committee for moon sighting declares that the crescent was not sighted and hence, Ramadan completes 30 this year and Monday, May 2, 2022 is announced as Salah day.

This news was shared by Haramain Servant, based in Saudi Arabia, which posts live updates from the sacred Kaaba through their Facebook handle.

Nigerian Muslims however await it's moon sighting committee, under the leadership of the Sultan of Sokoto, to search for the crescent this evening.

Just that West is a lowland, not easy to sight moon here. Northerners are in higher altitude
