It is uncertain whether the companies will still be silently operating or have the loans forfeited to Nigerians. Only time will tell.


This event follows the report made few weeks ago about the intentions of FG to shut down operations of illegal money lenders in the country.

Nigerians and Nigeria isn't ready for credit financing economy and this is exactly why there will no middle class society here.

It's either you're extremely rich or you're poor. Credit financing is the only way for an average person to build wealth. Where you can get soft loan to finance your projects and stuff like that.

Even though these loan sharks were operating terribly but that's a start which should have metamorphosed into something better and professional. Unfortunately people will collect loan so as to take a woman to a date and complain when the companies come asking for their funds.

when MTN started working in Nigeria, their methods were terrible and their charges outrageous but with competition and regulations, they became sane.

These guys made their rules available for everyone so why are these guys complaining kwanu

Even if it's true that they have been removed from Playstore, those who are already owing them still need to repay their loans!
