Femi Fani-Kayode has come out to reveal why a Northerner will likely emerge as presidential candidates in both the People's Democratic Party as well as the All Progressive Congress. The former aviation minister also revealed what the south is doing wrong that can hinder them from producing the next president.


The former aviation minister on his Facebook page said "As the day passes, the illusion of a southern presidency in 2023 melts away like an iceberg approaching the tropics. At the end of the day, both parties will present a northern candidate, nothing will happen and the heavens will not fall."

Writing further, he says the reason is because southerners do not know the meaning of unity or collective interest while the Northerners do. He says over 30 southerners have already declared their interest to run for presidency and that they can't even come together and agree on a shortlist of three buy instead they are busy fighting each other and running each other down in an attempt to get the golden fleece and win the prize.

He says the North has remained silence and quietly doing their homework and planning with no rancour or division. He says that's why they will have their way and no one can deny that they deserve it.

He says there's only one zone in the south that has never enjoyed presidency yet how many southern politicians and leaders are ready to step down for that zone.

He says for the southerners, individual is more important than collective one and that it appears some southerners are more equal than other

The former aviation minister believes Northerners are better organised than the south and so they stand a better chance of being candidates of the two major political parties.

The problem of the North is her illiterates masses. With the current problem of bandits/boko haram, backwardness and high level of illiteracy, no sane Southerners would've been clamouring for power if they were in the same shoes with Northerners.

Their Elites always want power, but have nothing to do with power.

Less ignorant in what capacity? See, I am not an ethnic bigot, neither am I insulting Northerners, this is the reality on groung in which you and I knows.

If your Governors, professors and other elites are that intelligent, there wont be religion extremists leading to terrorism but region mix with enlightenment. There wont be herdsmen but ranches. There wont be Amajiri system but a well structured universal basic education system.

The problems currently facing the country was a results of long time negligent of Northers governors and their representatives at centre.
