The abortion issue is purely religious.

The Supreme Court tried to protect women's rights on their bodies.

If these religious extremists insist on banning abortion. They should also make laws punishing men that impregnated the baby that was aborted, and also make laws mandating the men responsible to pay for the upkeep of the baby from pregnancy to teens.

Religious or not ... the Supreme Court never had the authority to make such a ruling.
How would that work?... punishing the man responsible for the aborted baby?... based on who the woman names?
There are laws mandating both parents be responsible for the upkeep of the baby until 18... or 21 and even older... depending on the circumstances. It's called child support.
