I traveled from the North to the East. I saw lot's of Shrines in people's compounds, mostly at the entrance. Some of them built small houses for that purpose but a great number of them were trees. Is there a reason why?

Is it Anambra state you travelled to? The level of idle worship is worrisome.

It is their tradition and inheritance from their father's. An inheritance that has plunder them onto a life of misery.

The worship of idols is why Nigeria and India families irritate me. Inside those threes, are abode of demons.

Community and families destiny are cage in those ancestral threes. Even in my home state, there are ancestral threes and shrines in every towns and cities you enter. The people who planted these shrines and altars are dead, but their children still keep and serve them in the name of tradition.

If you genuinely look at all the tradition they upheld today, is highly rooted from paganism. When I complained here on nairaland about their evil tradition, one big fool quote me here telling me their tradition must be respected.

Just traveled to white countries and check to see if there is any ancestral threes and shrines. Also check their living..

Wow... I remember one time I traveled to my hometown, I was very much younger then. My Dad's bro warned me seriously against peeing in the Compound. I heard from my mum that there was a shrine in the compound but I've never set eyes on it... Everyone of my Dad's brothers are Christians even those in the village, I still do not understand why the tree is still there. Their parents are late, the ones living in the Compound are Church goers, Who then worships it?

Tress are used cos it serves as a medium.
Traditional worshipers reverence the products of nature's eg trees, rocks, water mountain etc.
Of all of them tree is the most revered and magical. Witches all over the world see trees as sacred and most traditional worshippers belong to witchcraft.

You see some that will go as far as marrying a tre in Abroad cos they fear deforestation will happen and their sacred place of worship gone.

I called out to God at night four days ago, I asked God to help me as I can no longer endure living with Nigerians.

As long as Nigerians continue with traditions, passed out to them by their fore-father, I see them all as idols worshipers.
