Former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, has declared his intention to contest for President of Nigeria.

Amosun made the declaration at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Central Business District (CBD), Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday.

The former Senator joins the likes of Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation; and Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, to formally declare to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Recall that Adams Oshiomhole, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC); and Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday declared their interest to contest the for president in 2023.

Oshiomhole said he was contesting to set Nigeria on the path of greatness.

The APC special presidential convention is scheduled to hold from Monday, May 30, to Wednesday, Ibikunle Amosun joins list of Presidential aspirants, declares interest.

Only in buhari's tenure do we see every dick and harry contesting for president.

It is very obvious that this government was a joke all along fueled by the many lies of chief lai Mohammed with the twin garbage shehu and femi adesina.

Am even wondering if EFCC have now been turned to a football club,. many of them dare not make the joke of contesting presidency if we had a serious president in power.

Funny but the truth is everyone has the right to contest. Let him/her who has the money for the form go out and do what he wants.
I believe most of these aspirants only want to have at least an appointment when the party candidate emerges. #100 million naira is a lot of money but then why won’t they be able to afford it after so many years in the government.
The masses will keep losing out on issues like this because of the selfish so called “elite”

Apc set the bar of governance so low and like someone said , they even threw away the bar

Imagine ASUU on strike before an election year and the apathy towards them is unprecedented

Imagine the level of insecurity that people who are travelling are not afraid of accidents but kidnapping

Imagine the all this rubbish being thrown at Nigerians and they expect to be voted in again
