Craneburg that will start reconstruction of Owerri Mbaise Umuahia road next month And they have also secured Owerri Airport contract.

Imo state ministry of works is giving RCC the node because they are the parent designer of the project.
for the flyover ? Rcc is a nice construction company when ameachi was the governor of rivers state he used rcc they constructed 90% of the flyovers ameachi did in his tenure

It seems you don't rate Hope Uzodinma at all, Hope Uzodinma has Multi level car park, ICC, Police HQ, Correctional facility etc in mind, Heck he even operationalized Oputa High court ihedioha abandoned.
Man is just investing heavily in road infrastructure first, even IMHA complex he's rehabilitating now was approved since 2020.

Personally I won't support him to invest in those high rise buildings, but to sale to anyone ready to complete them to at least 12 storey.

Hopefully be comes good. The recently concluded orlu road br craneburg is a sight to behold

Supreme court to deliver judgement on 17 oil wells between imo state and River state tomorrow 6 May 22.

Besides the Owerri recreation park proposed project covers 3km in length.

That case will be adjourned.

Cases like this often take time to decide.

I just need Hope Uzodinma to attract NLNG through the minister of petroleum, Muhammadu Buhari. After all, they are in the same party and Imo has a lot of gas reserves. That will transform the state and the entire region for good.

Truth be told, no Nigerian leader will let a part of the country secede without a war. This is something we should avoid in our region now.
1967 should be enough lesson. Ndigbo should be fighting for restructuring, not secession. BTW, there's no significant difference between the two.

Finally, the Supreme Court has decided the case. We move....

The one that made me smile was the Njaba bridge section, the bridge is been asphalted now, but immediately after the bridge there is an erosion menace that's eating into the lane on the road, Craneburg construction excavated everything, then formed the elevation with sand bags and BRC, the road now lies on top of the formations with extra layers of the sandbag forming a sort of dam.

Yes, but IMSG is complaining of paucity of funds that's what is delaying the reconstruction. Hope Uzodinma is saying that priority should be given to economic viable roads first before anything.

I think it will be better, cos it's state to have a ferry service and exotic boat restaurant incorporated into it. Let's wait and see.

There are actually more or even better ones under construction across the city, the area covered is just Area B and Govt House district, the one on foundation level nobody owns how is gonna turn out.

I had the opportunity to read the full template of Hope Uzodinma urban renewal plans, creation of modern bus terminals like 3 was there one at Arugo, Naze, ... Including laybys and BRT services. The entire project is still at the first phase with junction improvement works currently.

How did the whole thing look to you?
I don't like BRT systems. They should find a way to improve standards and quality for private people. Why take peoples business and give it to government?

Owerri is the middle of the SE and SS and logically it should be a transit hub. The type of dirt patches you have to visit for bus transport and the behavior of the drivers is not befitting of a modern city

Though I don't fancy the BRT concept, but an intracity luxurious buses are welcomed although government must use a PPP arrangements

Impressive just wish investors can diversify with hospitality in owerri. So many hotels yet so little “attractive” sites. Or atleast if they can incorporate some type of game area/waterfall to the hotels that’d be nice too.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by RareDiamond: 9:54am On May 06, 2022
The phase 1 and phase 2 combined estimated total cost of the two gas projects been done by Shell and Seplat is about USD3.5 billion.

However, the phase 1 combined estimated cost of the two gas projects that is currently under construction is estimated to cost about USD1.5 billion.

Have construction began in Sky mall and Kunoch mall? Do you mind to explain what you meant by Craneburg is building Imo Airport ?

sanctity454:

Shell plant is a 3.5billion dollar project, seplat 700 million dollars, waltersmith group investment contains a 300megawalts capacity IPP, 50000 BPD refinery and an industrial park.

This 3 companies are constructing a brand new 25 km dual carriage highway criss crossing ibigwe Assa to pH road.

Most of the other projects information are basically restricted.

My bad I meant Owerri Airport road, it's meant to be a six lane highway.
Skymall was at advanced stage of construction since last year located at Akwakuma.
Knouch mall I honestly don't know for now.
