Good day nairalanders, please a quick discussion, about a family friend and a neighbour that is very close to mine, one of the neighbors son doesn't not look like the father or any of the father's people, because I know quiet a lot of their family members, from early stories, when the man had some money, a lady said she was pregnant for him, but when she gave birth the boy was different, now that the man doesn't have much money and the woman has left him, even the man's sibling are quietly saying that the boy is not their family, because so far, all the children and grandchildren in the house has at least one form of resemblance, either with their parents or uncles, but this particular boy in question has not even a single resemblance with the father, only the mother. Could it be true that that lady only lied to the man when he had money, but it's too late for her to come out with the truth though she is separated from the man because there is no money again

It`s not too late for paternity test. Doctors will finds out.

You can't tell if he's not his son except by a DNA test.Some children will only resemble one parent.

They should conduct a dna test if they are not sure, but i will advise you to mind your business.

Does the boy also not resemble anyone from his mother's side of the tree? Have you checked?

Abeg, make una no use ignorance ruin the child abeg. If the man does not believe the boy is his, he should go do as DNA test first to verify this thought he may have..

Must every child have resemblance of their father and paternal relatives?

Let them contribute money and have a DNA test done to confirm if he is their own or not.

So a child can't resemble his mother abi? Or where is it stated that every child must look like the father or his people?
