Nice one from chief Kenny. You should be named cross-country.
The building looks familiar though.

Hello house, please I need your contributions.

I have a situation at hand.

My current apartment is a 2 storey residential property, there is an issue of low water pressure on the 2nd floor. When there's light the pressure is great ( quite high), as there's a pressure controller attached to the pump. I noticed that I've never heard/seen the tank full(usual overflowing of water storage tanks).

1) Does the tank ever gets full with this setup?
2) Doesn't this consume a lot of power as its usually always on due to the above mentioned reason?
3) Is there a better way to set it up?

Attached below are pictures of the setup.

Hello engineers, yesterday a client came to me with this problem, first the roof is very high as you can see from the picture, it rained the day before with strong wind.... What are your inputs to remedy the problem? And where did they go wrong in the first place?

1. It's simply the Struts.. Not well sized or supported.

2. improper transmission of roof load.. struts are supposed to be resting on roof beams.

The support couldn't handle the load.. If we follow the olden days way of roof support,

That's why alot of roofs cave in.

Given the interest in biogas on these streets, here is another biogas expert

This one happens to be a lady and it seems that if her story is to be believed, she understands both the theory and the practice.

If you have not seen the tank overflowing when the pump is working is because there is floating switch controlling the pump. It's automatic. When the water get to a certain level the floating switch cut off the supply to the switch to avoid over flow. And also when the level of water is low the floating switch send signal to the pump to transfer water to overhead tank.

The second question is very simple, when there is power supply definitely you will get pressure because for your pressure pump to work there must be a power supply, and when there is no power supply you will experience a low pressure in the building.
Remember pressure pump only works when there is water running either in the bathrooms, kitchen or external tap. It will only consume power when pump is working

People always forget that Stone Coated is heavier than regular aluminium and proper or stronger wood support should be used.
I am never in support of those extra high roof anyway.

Happy weekend my ogas in the house. I did flooring of my compound when I wanted to move in 2020 but I see some stuffs like green mould appearing on the surface. Now can I go ahead to install paving stone on it and how good is that idea? Is there any implication of installing interlocking on already concrete floor rather than a floor never concreted before except filling

Your money is safe on Alibaba. Just make sure you buy from verified seller and always let them send you trade assurance before making payment.
The money isn't released to the seller until after certain period.

I believe the reason why that of the Nigerian seller is 2x of Aliexpress price is because they already added shipping cost and their usual exorbitant profit.

Most of what we buy here are actually cheap if you know how to import them yourself.

Another reason could be that the Nigerian seller got the product from countries like the US (Products from the US are more expensive than that of the Chinese even though most of these products are being manufactured in China, but assembled/packaged in the US).

This is wickedness shocked
I keep asking craftsmen the importance/function of this high roof and I keep getting same answer, "na em dey reign" undecided
I wasn't around when my house was roofed otherwise I for nor gree, now when I close doors in my home, the entire rooftop echoes back. There's so much vaccum up there.
To me it's disgusting angry because even the craftsmen will not put same roof in their personal homes.
well thank goodness flat roofs are back in Vogue like in the days of our ancestors grin

It's possible but are you putting the paving stones on the concrete floor just to remove the algea or is there any other reason?

Is your area water logged or relatively dry ?

Where exactly do you want to install the paving stones, the walk way or drive way?

Paving stones are flexible pavement options. They are meant to transmit the load down to the sub grade while being free to move both vertically and horizontally.

If you are reworking a walk way it's okay just have enough sand bed between the concrete and the new paving stones and lay the paving stones to slope.

However if it's a drive way, you might have issues of cracks due to the inability of the paving stones to move as expected under the vechicular load. Also there would be build up of water under the stones since water would not be able to percolate to the sub grade because of the concrete base which will later affect the concrete and also the paving stones.
