The significance of people listed in drug arrest in Nigeria is they often come from two tribes: Ibo and Yoruba. When you meet Ibo or Yoruba man or woman, they would often describe themselves as smart. They tell you their parents are kings and queens. They would tell you they have 10 bachelor degrees, ten masters, 20 PHD and are closer to God than the rest of other Nigerians. And most importantly, they claim hard work as the reason for their success. Here we are, whenever drug arrests or other criminal activities are brought to light, Ibos and the Yorubas make up the list.

I write to ask for the division of Nigeria into 36 countries. That way, good guys do not associate themselves with all these criminals from Ibos and Yorubas.

Seems like Kyari was really at the heart of the drug trade ... collecting bribes for protection. Even with the previous administration... I think drug trafficking jumped to new heights... the era of rush to build airports (really for safe drug drops) and everyone acquiring private jets ( for transporting drugs.) That Rush stopped like overnight since hurricane took office.... this era is about kidnappings and ransoms.

You have broken many tables with this your post. The airport builders have slowed down their momentum. Remember it was from that angle Abba Kyari entered soup.
The jet owners spraying money have resorted to selling Herbal Bitters in order to provide a cloak of legitimacy.
The NDLEA officers and leadership were corrupt. Lafiaji is a case study.
Marwa won't collect bribe. Doesn't carry women, doesn't even eat out. Those who know him as MILAD of Lagos can testify. With someone like Marwa, the NDLEA guys knew they couldn't mess up.
Then for criminals like Abba Kyari, they have been into it for long, they didn't consider the enormity of their crimes. Mind you, it is not only Abba Kyari. There more like him in the Police.

The cocaine pusher should be given a 20year sentence. Weed pushers should be let go

Yes....at the time the airports were opened with high promises and hopes... then like abandoned since Buhari. Not even hearing about pastors and jets since.... not hearing about pastors and buying Rolls Royce and having 'car stables'.... makes me be connecting dots.

On Herbal Bitters .... that's all I been hearing about the main source of wealth of a very affluent ehmmm..... philanthropist! It must be a verrry expensive concoction and a verrrry addictive.... and almost the whole of Nigeria is on it... plus exported in huge quantities! But what do I know?!

On Marwa... I strongly believe this is personal... like he lost someone close and dear to him due to drugs and like made a vow to crush the industry. I also believe he is putting people with similar experiences and passion in key positions.... the reason the squads be making these busts. Hopefully the good guys in the agency eventually get rid of the bad eggs.
