Nobody’s even talking about how Tomiyasu played the LB role calmly devoid of the heart attack inducing football Tavares has been serving us in previous matches |

mostob:Dis days me no even care if we carry the whole “Isale Oshodi garage” go play as long as we see 3 points and hold am, na him matter “for now”. I agree with you about the midfield, we need to add quality in my opinion, not just numbers but quality players that can immediately improve that position, especially when we have Partey back healthy. |

50d33q:I can’t wait for when some people will start agenda say we qualify for top 4 without Partey, forgetting Partey’s performance repositioned us to where we regained control of our situation after we lost it. I know dem, u go soon begin see that kain gist for this thread. I go remind you when e start. |

Jodera:No Arsenal signing don fall my hand reach Pepe! I don make excuses for the guy tire but this man serious. Next season is going to busy for us, especially when you consider we are going back to Europe and will be involved in multiple competitions. We need better forward players wen dey serious and fit Arteta’s plan. |

Roland17:I read we they hustle for diaby another Pepe in the making instead make we go Brazil or south America scout for better flying wingers like raphinha, rodrygo |

50d33q:Right now and despite my already know reservations about him, I am all for Arteta getting the players he wants and the ones that fit his plan/ style, after all he has earned it. He will be in charge next season so it is fair to let him have the type of players he wants. I just want quality in that midfield to compliment whatever we have left. If we can get 2 quality additions to the midfield that fit what Arteta wants, I am fine. We can suggest players but if they don’t fit Arteta’s style and plan then we are just wasting our time talking. |

Roland17:We are getting tielemans That's a good addition |

50d33q:Watch Tielemans against Spurs and come back to this... You know how Lacazette and ESR get gassed out at the 60th minute?! That's Tielemans in a nutshell Absolute poor physical conditioning when he's asked to press! |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:08pm On May 08, 2022 |
Roland17:Pepe fall everybody hand abeg. After that him first match cameo against Burnley and then starting against Liverpool displays, the guy performance have gone so so downhill. I just pray we get better forward players next season as well as good Midfielders. Spurs and perhaps man u will be very strong next season |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 8:11pm On May 08, 2022 |
Dreamswayne:To be honest eh, I think say na only me dey watch tielemans this season o. I think he dropped form this season. He's so poor positionally, easily subdued when pressed and he's not that good in work rate. Aside Tottenham's game, tielemans have been poor this season (esp from Jan) |

BlueRayDick:I swear. I guess that's what we'll be seeing from now on(Cedric and Tomi fullbacks). Thank goodness Tomi will start against Tottenham. At least, my heart will not be beating with tavarez facing son or Kulu ![]() |

Jodera:Very poor!! I'd rather someone like Bissouma if we looking for league proven midfielders. No doubt in my mind we can find better bargains outside EPL though... Fabian Ruiz, Caqueret, Paqueta, Laimer, Sangare et al, or even some South American gems if we scout hard enough. |

mostob:They are not in position to form strong head . His contract with them expires next year which means they could either get 40million for him now or allow him go for free at the end of his contract. |

The way Martinelli sent Raphinha to surulere is not talk about well enough... ESR entered and sent Firpo to Ajegunle... ![]() Martinelli really tried today...dude I gradually becoming a good winger and the way he controls those long balls keep me wondering if na the same ball Pepe dey play. Saka was quiet today... Is it just me or does anyone else think our defence looksore stronger with Holding than with White. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:43pm On May 08, 2022 |
BlueRayDick:But this Tieleman I dey watch doesn't worth 40million. Make we look somewhere else abeg... Bissouma for example |

mostob:But to be honest eh, Cedric isn't so bad defensively. Nah just offensively be him problem. By the way, who dey give that guy authority to dey take our corner kicks?? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 8:58pm On May 08, 2022 |
Jodera:they should return him abeg.... |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 9:00pm On May 08, 2022 |
Jodera:Cedric is weak abeg...both defensively and offensively. As for the corner kick, I was surprised as well. Martinelli is much better so I don't know why Cedric was taking the kicks. All his corner kicks today we're off....just place the ball but baba wan score directly.. SMH |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 9:02pm On May 08, 2022 |
Jodera:Maybe it might be due to the quality of players surrounding him but that guy is just off. And he is hot headed so I'm not sure Arteta would go for him |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:05pm On May 08, 2022 |
mostob:But Arsenal sold Iwobi 40million na ![]() By the way , if Brighton sold Ben white to us for 50million , how much do u think they will demand for Bissouma ? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 9:10pm On May 08, 2022 |
mostob:Saka is very very tired or he's carrying a knock. I think Arteta knows but he's just using/managing him. Another thing I want let Saka improve on Is running in behind defence. Most times he's always expecting ball to his feet. I hope he can blend both. And that's what Martinelli is blending very well. He knows when to dart in behind the defence and when to receive ball at his feet. What I feel he should improve on is his scoring from the wings. But on in all Martinelli tried really well today as well as Saka. They really used their opposition defenders well. Holding has been impressive this season for us. I don't know holding defence have been stronger White's own but one thing is certain, we didn't really miss White cos holding slotted in seamlessly. We'll see how it fares against Tottenham too. The downside is that no more holding lock shop package again ![]() |
