The story of many Nigerian young graduates is really pathetic! Very eye watering! How can a human live on 20K, 30K, 50K etc a month? Gallingly these are same people throwing hateful expletives at each other in defence of the politicians that condemned them to this inhuman existence, ensuring that they never come together to fight these malevolent men...It's heartbreaking!

You all believe farming is that easy both poultry and fish farming are just time wasting, you won't make profit.

I have a friend who start with 200k, he makes a lot of profits from fish farming. Believe u me, he is a successful at it, is a young millionaire. he is a kwasu graduate from Agricultural department. He started learning fishing before graduating from uni and learn about the fishing practice from the neighborhood.

Bad advice!
Agriculture isn't easy. Please don't take loan to start a farm. I'm an experienced farmer and I've encountered serious losses. If you have money invest in acquiring knowledge, also do proper market research.
One thing is to farm, another thing is to sell.
Most importantly, start small.

life is all about risk and business is about profits and losses. I will advise him to consult those who are good,experience and successful at agricultural practice. Tell them your interest and what you can do. Google peace veterinary, if you are interested in poultry.

My friend that we finished university over a decade ago was earning 15k as a teacher somewhere in this country.
Upon leaving my former company, I had to bring him in as my replacement. I also introduced him to my side hustle which he is doing presently.
The one that broke my heart most was the day I saw a PhD holder doing Npower. That was when I knew this country is finished

I also know a PhD holder (a guy) doing Npower. Earning the same stipend as OND/NCE holders. May Nigeria never happen to us.

After my NYSC way back in 2004, I was teaching in a private secondary school and earning N12,000. My dad's security that was opening the gate for me and greeting me "welcome" whenever I returned from work was earning N18,000.

I gave someone I know my CV in 2015. I didn't know the guy was the training manager of my current work place. After about a year, I was called for interview. I see God in everything. My take home salary then was 68k. It grew to 142k last year

12k as a teacher in 2004 but the school increases salary by 10 to 20 percent annually. I worked there for some years. My salary when i quited was around 28k. Things have gotten better as i now earn over 300k monthly freelancing.

I earned 10k when I got my first job, though I was doing my NYSC. Same company started paying 150k + two years after. I got another offer and left even though they gave me the option of reviewing my salary upwards.

In the words of my employer "When you were earning 10k you worked like someone who earned 1m per month". He made this statement when I put in words for him to review the salary of graduate interns which was about 50k then.

Wherever you work put in your best no matter what you are being paid.

Even graduate internship has not been easy to come by too. I've been on this since I graduate 2019
