Abortion is murder, whether it's early or late. Seun: |

cococandy:No, it's not that simple. I don't see a difference between eating boiled eggs and a whole live chicken. Don't get me wrong. I don't and I have never condemned people who abort. The issue here is passing every damn thing into law. We cannot continue to legalize everything that humans do just to appear as though we care about people's rights. Having sex with a dog or dead body does not hurt anyone. Does it? So should we also make that a part of our laws since no one is hurt? Should we legalize necrophilia and bestiality because we all know that some persons sleep with animals and dead bodies both in Nigeria and the U.S? Let there be room for human reasoning, morals, and the knowledge of right and wrong, please. When you constitutionalize everything, you're automatically saying that everyone should abort. Nobody has time to start reading clauses about who's constitutionally permitted to do this and that. |

Fairmedia:Taboo varies amongst society... Let's say in some part of Igbo land, killing of python is seen as a taboo. But am not sure it's so in vast other regions. So, let the people decide. That's wot democracy is all about. If majority advocates for abortion right, den it holds. Meanwhile, in Nigeria where it is termed illegal, have people not been commiting abortion? How many persons have u heard being dragged or prosecuted for commiting abortion? U see, it better remains a thing of choice to sustain or remove a pregnancy. |

wirinet:You might want to go to the UN website and EU website to confirm global data and the policies about a declining birth rate and growing death rate, escalating aging as the threat for the Human civilization. I can not read for you. Just find time to read. |

AstraDroid:Why not post links UN and EU website that confirm global data about declining birth rate and growing death rate. If you take the time to post the links, I will find the time to read them or are the links secret? Yes EU population is declining as well as affluent countries, where women refuse to procreate or they give birth late. But in the rest of the world, especially poor and illiterate countries, the population is exploding. |

Acidosis:I’m going to ignore your false equivalencies because I already expected them and know for a fact that I’ve addressed them before. What do you mean by everyone should abort? Like every pregnant person will be forced to abort their fetus? I want to be like “you’re joking right?” But knowing you, you probably believe it |
| Re: An Abomination’: Pelosi Leads Outcry On Supreme Court Draft Abortion Ruling by Acidosis(m): 3:29pm On May 05, 2022 |
cococandy:You certainly have not addressed the egg-whole chicken analogy, at least not on this thread. But it's OK to ignore. No. Forced is not the word. When you make abortion a lawful practice, you're simply erasing the need for accountability, safe sex practices, etc. But I get it, accountability really doesn't exist in certain climes, especially in countries with over 40% illegitimate child birth.

Seun:I disagree with this view. Cos the states that allow late abortion also permit early abortion. They simply change their minds during the pregnancy. Personally, I say no to abortion at any stage.... |

obstead200:So a baby can survive independently of its parents, right? Your logic is ridiculous. What about children born with Downs syndrome, Autism etc that render them dependent on their parents or caregivers? Do we kill them all? Okay so a lady can abort a 9 months old baby in the womb just before delivery if she decides she no longer wants the baby? So a fully formed baby at 9 months with a beating heart, sensory abilities and other human features can be aborted by the mother for non-life threatening reasons? Gutter logic. |
