Are these not the same policies they are implementing right now?

Imaginary full employment - is this not what APC promised and implementing with N-Power? How has that panned out?

Border closure - Have they not closed the border for over 2 years now? What exactly was achieved?

Wishful thinking protection of the naira - Did we no hear that naira would exchange for yuan directly to make it "strong".

Taxing the rich - have they not been taxing the rich and have ran out ideas already; have you forgotten that they even published names of tax defaulters? Have you forgotten so soon that they started with MTN 1 trillion fine? They came back taxing every penny in circulation in the name of VAT increment, stamp duty etc.?

The problem with all these wishful thinking is that they barely give a thought to how to finance these utopian dreams.

How do you pay 10m youths in the secret services, police, NSCDC etc that you are proposing?

The current federal government workforce is not even up to 3 million and they still struggling to pay salary with borrowed funds monthly.

Mr Fasua should not be pressured to just write anything anyhow to show his support for his candidate.

Everything he wrote here are the same policies that the current government borrowed from the Tinubu group and has been implementing for 7 years now with only a 127km railtrack to show for it; but with highest debt burden ever created in the history of our country.

What does this translate to?

But they implemented everything by the book.

Does it mean that without the cabal, there would have been money to employ 10m, 50m youths?

Do you consider how many N-Power people they are struggling to give 30,000 naira monthly stipend to?

Fowler was queried for not meeting up to revenue targets after they have taxed all the taxables, was it the cabal that prevented him from performing below expectation?

I have read every letter of APC ideology. The philosophy is premised on Lagos template. But Lagos is a sub-national.

Lagos still depends on the federal allocation for at least half of its revenue.

Nigeria does not have such luxury of grandfathering. Nigeria is sovereign. The template to generate revenue for Nigeria is different from Lagos template.

That is the core of the problem.

And that seems to what Mr. Fasua is still advocating.

Tinubu, Osinbajo, Fasola all once advocated fiscal federalism in one form or another.

But they all suddenly fell for an unworkable, unrealistic unitary fiscal agenda at some point.

What could have happened?

Blaming the cabal for this economic woes and trying to exonerate the main policy formulators is not right.
