How is China governed? China is so similar with Tz system of governance.
Actually,the federal system have been a failure in most African countries.Most africans are filled with tribalism, if u give them federations,their tribalism worsens as the case of Ethiopians. And again,federation are costly to run, just think of kenya,where many county's gov fails to pay salaries.

This is irrelevant. Tanzania should focus on more trade and less gossip. Maybe one day you can migrate to middle income status.

China is 95% hans - they are homegenous. Federation and democracy yes worsen tribalism but also unleashed 'free market' like competition for resources which makes it more efficient than your dormant one-man or now woman systems. Instead of one Magufuli - TZ has a chance to create 10 magufulis every election - leaders who can transform their country.

Kenya we moved forward post Moi regime because of that. We had TZ like pronvincial system of une-elected gov appointed DCS and PCS. That never works. Accountable leaders are those elected by people - not picked by national gov based on whims.

We have CDF - each MP is given money for development - so they can fix issues facing their people - schools, roads, water, transformer for electricity.Now we have counties - with governors and their small parliament - fixing issues at that level. National gov the same.

There are many great mps and governors who have used little money to transform their areas - there are thieves - and useless ones - but rarely do they survive re-election. The firing rate is 70% of leaders go home every 5yrs.

Now imagine you useless DC or PC will retire - perform or not - at 60yrs.

But again in issues of your expensive system, the cost factor is a huge setback for almost all of African nations,we can't afford and its stupid to pay a huge money to politicians in those tiny tiny areas u call county. Then there is tribalism.Federations increases tribalism.And there is no proof to say federations work better than centralization type on any African country.
Just check kenya,with all ur praises,the poorest region in Kenya if compared with the poorest region in Tz,our Tz region wil still look better

Anytime there is a Oil boom, Angola would always prosper. Also they received about 3.1 Billion dollars capital inflow (non oil related) in 2021.
