There are reports of very cheap fuel in Benin republic and Cameroon also, and you ask how is that possible? They are leveraging on our subsidy.
Subsidies should go but my advice is that we give it a 2 year plan, then invest heavily on CNG vehicles as alternatives and then also solve the problem of irregular power supply within 2 years. After that, then we can gradually remove subsidy in the petroleum sector.
