What Spy said made sense. If we can restrict their forward players, they'll be frustrated and would want to attack. Then we can hit them on counter. They need this win than us, they are at home too, let's not forget that. That will play on their pysche for all or nothing. The good thing is that they don't have good creative Midfielders and that's what I'm banking on when talking about deep defensive line.

This makes really really good sense if we will stick to the game plan from start to finish.Ur analysis of the Son and Kane partnership is very apt. Son vs any of our defenders on one on one will definitely end in tears especial if we are caught off guard in one of their fast counters.

What we just need is not to be too fixated on the defensive duties, our sprinters like Martinelli and Nketiah should be ready to break on the run anytime when players like Xhaka, Odegaard and Elneny have the ball in our own.

It seems Elneny specialises in giving such passes; he gave something similar to Nketiah I think last game. He gave same to Ozil when he scored that wonder goal in which he dribbled all defenders and the keeper in the champions league that year

U are not getting the point. If u've watched Spurs under Conte u will understand what we are saying. We need to try and contain Tottenham and not go all out to attack them cos just one ball lobbed over our midfield from Kane to Son will end in tears. Those two have scored goals in that fashion this season. Son will most likely delete Cedric on one on one while placing the ball past Ramsdale.
