So I have this 5months and a week old dog that isn't barking or showing any sign of agression, it was a gift and the person told me that it's a low pedigree German shepherd, I don't really know the breed. All she does is playing, digging, eating and sleeping, she always want me to release her so that she can play, she even plays with strangers. Any idea on how I can make her territorial, protective and barking? Please I'm really annoyed that she's growing up like these. Ur help will be of great importance

Teach her how to bark!
Bark in her front for 15 minutes every one hour.

There is nothing like low pedigree or high pedigree.

It is either it is pure breed or not.

Simply seclude the dog for some time...even not release her for 3days...you will see changes in temperament.

Seclusion means keeping her away from where she can see humans...she will only hear people... That will trigger her...

Puppies are born without the ability to hear or see. As their eyes and ears open around 2-3 weeks of age, it makes sense that their vocalizations begin at this time.
However, the actual barking usually doesn’t start until at least 6-8 weeks of age.
But you said yours is already 5 months old.
