The Supreme Court of Nigeria has ruled that Section 46 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act should be construed within the narrow confines of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the precursor to the establishment of the EFCC - to prevent illicit financial outflow from Nigeria.

EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria".

Crime does not pay but you see this EFCC, they don't do credible investigations before making these arrest. Some time in March they arrested some of my friends and took them to their office.
It was there the investigation started. They found nothing. Absolutely nothing incriminating. They were released that day though after their lawyer intervened but my guys had to pay 750k for sureties who signed them out.

No apologies, nothing. It was later we found out that some lady went there to report that my friends were into fraud.

These guys no dey investigate. Its to just arrest any young guy that is living well. No wonder, BLord won them in court. Not every young man is a criminal.

However, if you indulge in crime, cyber or physical please desist from it. There are better things to do. Stop being lazy and stop putting other young persons at risk of these unnecessary arrest.
As far as you are not hawking on the street, and not a salary worker or shop owner you are automatically a yahoo boy. Very primitive country, though I condemn internet fraud.

They were arrested at Owerri, Imo State following credible intelligence linking them to cyber-fraud targeting mostly foreign nationals.

This should be the least of our problems, a waste of money and time. Even the US do not waste time and money chasing crimes that does not in any way target their citizens.

EFCC should come Asaba, Delta state!

It is their headquarters. Every nook and cranny of that state including hotels.

Unfortunately, these are still beginners. The real dudes use SUVs, not salon cars, and they are usually protected by uniformed officers of the law.

Nawaoooo..... Some of those names sound familiar. However, crime doesn't pay, it may be sweet at the beginning but once the culprit z nabbed, he or she would regret all those years of sweet adventures.

Funny life though, cause with the high rate of boys going into fraud, at a point the competition will be too much and it won't just work cause only a few will cash out then.
