I need help. I changed the Brain Box of my Lexus just January this year when my car just suddenly refused to start and after programming and refreshing the memory, the diagnostics revealed that it had ECU problem. Today, the same thing happened and I am told I need to change the Brain Box again. Pls who can help me with the root cause of this issue and how to solve it once and for all.

Poor electrical connection
Water damage
Indiscriminate battery removal

I don't remove the battery at all. The car hasnt had any reckless contact with water. The electricians said all the wires and fuses are functioning properly. The thing is frustrating.

Is the ECU not located inside the engine bay?

No. It's under the fuse box.

You can visit another auto rewire to get a second opinion.

well taken ur car to a qualified Auto Mechanic for proper diagnostics, one who can get a virgin brianbox and reprogram it

Some kind of electrical issue. Could be partial contact in the fuse box in front of the battery. Or a bad alternator.
