A Twitter user Oluwakayode shared his bitter experience at a redemption camp:

I remember one day at Redemption Camp.

After the service around 2am, I went inside the prayer foyer to relax. Laid beside a socket and plugged my newly bought phone. I don't know where that sleep just came from. Just 2mins doze ...

As I opened my eyes, say I should check my phone and chat small, it was the charger I found.
I don't know whether to cry or shout. I was speechless for like 5mins.
But the joy was it was not only my phone they stole, it was a mass theft .

I saw one married man crying that his laptop, wallet and phone have been stolen just after sleeping for some minutes, so many people like that.
Omo, I just removed the charger, sat down and cry my own cry too.

I trekked from Shimawa to almost half of the road before I saw someone who helped me to the main gate. I was stranded because my tf back to Ibadan was inside the phone pouch. I stayed for like 5haaas, before I saw one Trailer who helped me to Ibadan.

Since then, I never trust anyone in church again.

Anyway I'm not surprised he's done worse

things like look on while people are shot dead in his places of worship.

Or did nothing as people get killed while coming from prayer meetings, night vigils .

The theft in night church is far more than ones we witness in betshop

Till today the story never clear for my eyes. Two sim cards just vanish for inside church as i plug am for light

Even thieves dey go church too.

This one na crime of opportunity
