Yeah. His portrayal in the sequel is highly praised. During the CinemaCon TV spots I heard a few Hollywood critics say his performance is Oscar worthy.

Don't know who Renée is but I also thought of Danai Gurira when I saw the warrior pics. She would have slotted in perfectly.

But I guess the producers were avoiding the film being watered down as another Wakanda fictional nation.

Yes, she's a sociopath who controls him by passive aggressive manipulation.

I think he should divorce her, but I'm not sure he could afford the asset division and alimony/child support payments she'd demand.

Will didn't exactly cover himself in glory when he slapped a comedian who was doing his job, but it's evident that he was going through a lot. I hope he recovers and his career doesn't continue on its downward trajectory, because he's clearly sensitive, and sensitive people often self-destruct.
