Ilaumoh: I want to hear more of this. If all state Governors emulate him, joblessness will reduce. And industries has a way of creating chain link jobs. Other services such as restaurants, hotels, laundry etc easily thrives where we have industries. 1 Like |

Ilaumoh: Why do you always like to advertise your tomfoolery? Is it because of the bits and crumbs they give you so that you sleep here? Can't development and industrial advancement be replicated in other places? So even if Akwaibom has the largest pool of coconut, does that in anyway stop other states fdom catching up? In your quest to be competitive, you pass off as a highly uncivilized and narrow-minded individual. This is a forum that anyone can express his opinion. That doesn't take anything away from your post. Stop acting like a child whose toys are suddenly withdrawn from him. Go get some education. |

Shadysen:See a factory fool saying shut up to an employer. Let your state gov.do same. Leave hatred. Recent statistics shows many Akwaibomite and other citizens are relocating from Lagos the industrial city to the state. It's youngmen who wants life going to Lagos to hustle these days,at the end your weekly money finish in clubs & transportation, years after years you keep saying I'll make it,until you've no other choice but join geng to surprise your brothers at home. What a shame! Many has testify, and many are returning to established at home with peace. You're just a factory boy that knows nothing about current development in the state. Akwa is one state rapidly growing interms of infrastructure, employment and accomodating emigrants from other states. The state has witness many influx of people, and now you're watching ibom air flying, the int.stadium, the syringe industry currently use in all Nigerian hospital and now exported to Europe, the oil,the agriculture,or in sport sector? So much is done. Stop the hatred and ask your governor to do same lets see if Nigeria will not grow. I was in Lagos MMI airport traveling out recently and I met one man,to my surprise and Akwaibomite, saying he has 2.8Million in his account, that he has work so much in Lagos for many years, yet things not settle with him. He was asking for advise whether to travel out or return to the state and invest. With my experience and brotherly love,i advise him if you don't make it in Lagos, return to uyo with your money and you'll do well. "Don't travel out for now". Beside if you travel out, with current exchange rate, that money convert to USD, it's a peanut. You'll pay for rent whether monthly,or annually, you'll pay for gas, water, electricity, transportation, food, and you'll look for job. Traveling out is easy to say at home, but what are you going out to do? School or work? All these cost. You better return home and invest, you can look for one private school and invest the money for a period of 2yrs,the school will pay you monthly with interest. You can Invest in transportation, you can invest in properties, agriculture, even export of of traditional red oil, Cassava, beans to other countries like India, other African countries etc. He look at me from head to toe,and said my eyes are open sir. We hug eachother and I told him,in 2yrs I want to hear you're settled. So you factory boy saying there's no employment this or that, keep looking for employment ok? When you can create one for yourself and even employ others? Akwa will keep moving. There's something unique about that state. God bless all Akwaibomite. |

obynzo:Don't mind him. He's trying to breed envy among our neighborhood brothers who are migrating, marrying, doing business, and settling in uyo. The Igbos we know, no matter what is happening still remain our brothers. We have shared many things in common in education,in business and religion. We have nothing in common with the West or north who is far from us. Recently they geng up and remove weak former president GEJ and you call such people friends? I'll gladly throw my vote to Peter Obi than waste it on old dogs. I'm happy when I move around my state and see them (Igbos) doing business peacefully in itam market, ibom plaza etc. They're everywhere and we love our brothers. So don't mind the haters. |

Shadysen:Sorry about uruan people. Go speak to the governor, he'll hear you. The project is turn by turn. It's not hyping, that's what happens when it's not reaching you,but you should be proud saying..."I'm an Akwa ibomite...even stating your village uruan" which shows you're as well happy about the development right? Meanwhile I sense you're not really who you claim to be. Travel to other states and return to thank your governor. 1 Like |
