Yesterday's high has been taken already. I'm in the buy as at now and I've taken partials profits of 45 pips and moved the stop loss 10 pips above my entry already.

Why did I join the buy contrary to what I expected to do yesterday today? @charly20

The daily started with a drop as soon market opened 12am Nigeria time till after the PPI news release at 1:30pm.

I expected the yesterday's high to be swept first and then reversed but the market went for the manipulation all through the London morning session and into NY morning that is on now and reversed up to take out the high of yesterday which is very logical then to go fill up both the H1 &H4 FVG.

I took my partials profits of 45pips the moment the yesterday's high was taken.

I'm expecting it to run up to close up the H1 FVG completely and the H4 too. Then I'm out for the day.

And if it refuses to reach that logical target then I'll be stopped out at plus 10 pips profits locked already as I type this.

@charly20 The market should go to your target of last week high but it might not be today but be cautious of the last H4 FVG before the last week high if it's 100% filled.

Why take partials?

I'm a day trader and I'm taught by my mentor to always pay myself at every short time high/low and old high/low.

So I pay myself as I my trade runs in profits.

This has been helping against my fear of my trade turning against me.

Also I could see the orderblock at H1 has been touched and the price is reacting to it.

My stoploss still remains at plus 10pips above my entry.

At this point if the market turns against me I've got nothing to lose.

Trade safe always guys.

I saw the bullish reversal at the 50% fib mark of yesterday's candle but i prefer OTE. 50% exposes me to larger risk so I don't usually take them.

This will leave me with just my initial position from $96 and of course my SL at 10 pips profit too till $116. Maybe not today,maybe tomorrow but i shall exit in that liquidity pool.

I guess the week has been good

EurJpy has melted since I projected but i didn't take the trade because of fear of a mistake. But i have observed that i win more trades with pending orders at significant supply and demand windows.

I will improve sha. So much to learn.

I understand your preference for OTE at least 62% which is ideal.

I know your a swing trader wont you consider taking some partials in profits as your your trade run in blues.

The last week liquidity might or might not be taken out this week but be on the lookout bro.

Do you see how price reacts to the orderblock at H1? It's the reaction from the orderblock to the downside that stopped me out.

If it suites you then you will definitely enjoy it.

But note that not everyday is a trading day.

Even the prop firms can attest to it that day traders succeed more with their challenges than swing traders. Probably due to the limit on drawdowns.

However this doesn't make day traders better than other type of traders.

I believe whatever suites one's personality is best to be adopted. Day trading fits my personality and I enjoy it as well.

I feel we retailers make this same mistake of thinking market bias can change within a day, after a great study and this recent competition I have come to the conclusion that for market bias takes time to change. Big players set targets monthly and quarterly, all we need do is follow them.

Just today I got stopped out with 39 pips loss trading gold and the painful thing is that it went later to my intended direction.

In fact, since January this year I've been really struggling with my trades yet I've been training someone forex passionately for free of course.

Friday market hmmm!!

Friday market is still a big nemesis for a swing trader like me.
the way I fear market activities on Fridays ehh..
a Friday (d1)candle stick can usually wipe off 3 weeks of hard labour in the market.
imagine staying in the market for up to 3 weeks with some decent floating profit only to lose it all on Fridays..most of my big loses usually happens on Fridays.
Fridays are my Achilles (weakness) when it comes to trading the market.
its almost like Gamble.. the market can go either way rapidly and Massively.. and within 2 or less hours of market's madness, all your 3weeks floating profits is wiped off.
still plotting a means to trick my way around Fridays sha..

XTIUSD still faced consolidation price yesterday, target price 110 not yet achieved.
price now on upper band line, but RSI still shows an uptrend.

Just as I suspected, you are purely all bark and no bite thank goodness I didn't waste my precious time on the so-called competition I clicked the link and saw the thread. Why didn't you credit the winner as you said you would? Instead you used a flimpsy excuse to remove all the competitors you should have at least given the supposed winner small credit alert, at least for participating.
