I also mentioned good coaching but money can make a coach look good/

Man city have spent over 2billion dollars since Dubai took over. Man city was a relegation team like Norwich up until 2008 or a burnley like team

Unless u a kid and just started watching soccer few years .

When I started watched watching man city their top striker was a guy called Goater, Marc Vivan Foe, Erlin Harland father

You people just come here and lie... How did mancity 2billion? When?

If you hate the team, say it not lie against them

Every big team at one point or the other have spent big money before they became what they are today.

Where was the hate and lies when mancity was fighting relegation? And man utd, chelsea, liverpool were the team with the higher purchasing power.

You people should just shut up abeg.

I wonder what you people will say when newcastle start spending their money.

Thanks for the correction. I wanted to correct the impression that Chelsea were a relegation team.
KingWarri:

Wrong! Chelsea were second the season (2003/04 season) Abramovich took over not before.

The 2002/03 season, Chelsea finished 4th on the table.

How can a team who came second be a relegation team? Did Chelsea spend a lot of money? Yes! But don’t distort facts to score your arguments. Chelsea were second the season before abramovich took over.

Chelsea was a relegation team or bottom of the league side before abramovich money. That is a fact not argument or debate.

Chelsea was never 2nd before abramovich that’s a big lie. They have won the league six times with 5 during abramoivch era.

With abramoivch they have achieved a lot and call be called a big club now but many years ago even West ham was bigger than them by far.

I started watching premiership in 92, the first premiership that Blackburn won with Alan shearer. Chelsea were whipping boys. Chelsea started to improve when the former owner hired Gianluca Vialli as coach and Vialli was able to bring Serie A players over like Guilt, Zola Etc.

Back then in the 90s SERIE A was the league and not premiership. They showed Serie A matches on TV especially Sunday with the likes of Maradona playing

English football was so boring with their Kick and follow football. That’s y they got thrashed in Europe.

Only Liverpool and Arsenal played quality football but then Ferguson started winning with Cantona and his academy boys

Champions league the current format started probABLY 1992/1993

back then only 1st would make it to European Cup.

So maybe i exaggerated Chelsea were a mid table team.
