The land in question belongs to urhobos, and they are not taking it lightly, which might actually result to a bloody conflict between both ethnic groups.

It requires an amendment to Nigerian Constitution to effect such changes.

Why did they make Asaba the capital? The capital should always be at the center for security reasons and to be accessible to all, so I support Ughelli and Isoko as the new site for the capital of Delta State.

It's not a State issue because it alters the Constitution of Nigeria. The "State of Osun" as renamed by Aregbesola was declared pulled and void by the court.

Secondly, the recent Constitution amendment signed by President Buhari had some changes to some names of three local governments and some the location of their headquarters.
