Time intercourse with your gynae is when your doctor gives clomid or letrozol or any other ovulation induction meds, then monitors you with scan till when your egg/eggs are mature enough, he then gives HCG to make you ovulate, then gives progesterone after ovulate.

Mamas with experience will come and tell you their experience.

Yes yes yes... My God has done it again, we went for a blood pt yesterday evening and it came out a big fat positive, u need to see how I was jumping and hugging the lab guy, God answers prayers, on Monday I joined Nsppd miracle service and the pastor mentioned my case he said we should carry our baby, meanwhile my wife and i were expecting our period, I told God to replace period with pregnancy, and he answered us, in this TTc journey we need God..

I was also told to wait 6weeks and 6 months for sex and pregnancy respectively..but i wasnt asked to do family planning.
What type is the doctor suggesting? Since its just 6months wouldnt condoms be just ok? Pls find out from your doctor what type he wants to give. Family planning methods are generally safe.

Or maybe he wants to give combination pill that'll also help you ovulate when youre ready.

Ignore the first progesterone. That value is normal for a day 3, your body can't be producing progesterone that early

I have PCOS and even with some ovulation induction drugs I still don't ovulate. I also have hyperprolactinemia which I'm using carbergoline for. I was told I had blocked tubes two years ago, but it seems that has been resolved as the last hsg I did last year confirmed patent tubes. I also had a myomectomy last year.

Hello amazing people, im new here i just started reading through this thread and ive learnt a whole lot already, everyone is doing an amazing job here. I have a question to ask but before that let me share a bit of my experience and journey. I had concieved in Oct 2020 same month i got married, had a smooth pregnancy journey, carried to term and birthed the most beautiful boy i had ever seen via cs only to loose him 2 days after to congenital heart disease. I was heart broken, i had lost my dad a year before and hadnt gotten over it. This one crushed me, my bp was all over the place and eventually rose to the point where i could barely see but God showed Himself strong in my life. I am doing okay but DH and I can never forget, we still cry about it sometimes. It was especially difficult for me cos he was a spitting image of his father so i am reminded of it everyday.

We have been trying since december last year cos we had to wait for me to heal proper. I am getting worried and want to try out ivf cos our doctor placed me on clomid since january and still nothing. DH thinks its anxiety on my part but i dont buy that. Might i add that i will turn 42 in dec. I wish i came here much earlier but i had alot on my plate and i dont want to be too hard on myself. I've read all that has been posted here on BOOSTING EGG QUALITY and IMPROVING UTERUS HEALTH. I know that with age comes a decline in egg quantity and quality so i want to increase my chances by working on both BEQ and UH before the ivf procedure.

There were lots of supplements mentioned here and i want narrow them down to ones i need so i dont overload my self and waste money buying duplicates. I want to get omega 3, dhea, vit d3 and fairhaven fertiltea or xiaxian cao tea. My question lies with theses 3 drugs [b]COAST SCIENCE FERTILE ONE PC600, CQ10 AND PREGNACARE CONCEPTION. [/b]Am i supposed to buy all 3 in addition to the ones i mentioned or am i just get 1 or 2 out of the lot.

not necessarily, id advise she takes it easy till missed period then she can take a test

Dont give up, the sun will shine again on your faces 1 day.

I would suggest, you take stock of the situation, note what you guys have done so far, what you or your doctor think is the issue, what you think needs to be done...and then follow thru.in addition to prayers
Having a plan during ttc, helps a lot, gives focus and gives you something to do.

If you are willing, we can run tru the process with you. Eg

Tubes----- open or closed, when was your last hsg
Sperm----- good or poor, when was the last sfa and values.

Uterine linning---- good or poor, when was your last follicular tracking?, How thick was your linning
Ovulation-----+ do you ovulate normally?, What is your cycle length.

Etc

Dont loose hope,
Based on your age, to boost egg quality should be a major point.
Ubiquinol+omega 3, dhea, the chinese tea, should be top on your list. Then folic acid.

U can add castor oil massage, and stop 2 or 3 wks b4 the procedure

Good afternoon mama's, I am new here and a ttc for 3yrs now. I have done all kinds of test, prolactin, hsg, hormone profile and the result was that I had high prolactin which I was given parlodel and dostinex 0.5 to stop it, hsg result says one tube was visible and ok couldn't see the second tube.. We are planning to go for IVF, my question is which hospital has anyone used that can be recommended and what things do I need to know, eat or drugs to use.. I need advice from anyone that has done IVF.
Have been reading alot here and it's has helped emotionally and psychologically.
