A former Governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has officially join
the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former DG of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s Support Group AbdulMumin Jibrin, who recently joined the NNPP made the disclosure via a tweet on his official Twitter page.

The tweet reads, “BREAKING- Sen Ibrahim Shekarau joins NNPP. Details later.

NNPP has its own presidential candidate which is Kwankwaso., so they will align with him.

U guys keep talking as if pdp didn't lose anything when kwankwaso left, at least apc still have incumbent, pdp has nothing left in kano,kwankwaso moved with his supporters(formerly pdp supporters), pdp won't even get 5% of kano votes

You know why? PDP with atiku under the umbrella, kwonkwosiya see no chance to pusue his ambition, so he has to leave form NNPP.

PDP is dead in Kano.. it was only kwankwasso that was sustaining the party, now that he has left, everyone is leaving

Alhamdulillah. Within 2 months, KWANKWASO'S New Party formed Structures in all the 36 States in Nigeria. No Nigerian Politician can achieve this within a Short Period.

The votes about to divide between APC, PDP and NNPP. Normally, Kano decides the winner so this is a problem.
