I am just concerned about the long term plan, lewandosky will help us greatly no doubt, i am just worried about our aged defenders.
No plan at all by the board, take a look at how young players are getting past pique, alba and co especially fast paced players like Halland and mpappe.
It's going to be a disaster next season.
Imagine our defense against Liverpool or man City or PSG or Madrid, you already know how it will end.
There is little much lewandosky can do, but with solid defense, the team will be more balanced.
Remember that even during the peak of Messi, iniesta and xavi. Without solid defenders like puyol, Mascharano, zambrotta, the team wouldn't have been balanced.
Look at PSG for example, all that stars up front but their defense always fails them, example was the Madrid game they lost.

Lewa alone can't guarantee the UCL as you're rightly stated nor might not win the ballon d or but tbh do you think we can chill with Auba as our starting striker or depay throughout next season? Even if we have prime maldini and baresi at the back, have you forgotten goals win you games? With him we can get at least 2-3 years of prolificacy then either enter the market for a new one or ease a younger one already in our ranks, Read we're already in talks with 16 yr old endrick from palmerias, If it doesn't work, we look elsewhere
