It depends on you as an individual. If you are single without family it will enable you to have free accommodation and meals. Look at the bright side pending when you have your own place.

Working in NHS doesn't really give any information on his Visa category cos there are accountanta,lawyer etc also working there too
, The visa route depends in the visa category your husband is on wether he is on health and care visa or others (skilled workers) .

We need to stop this lazy attitude it won't pay. You see the information you are craving for, if you had at least read the first page, u will get your answers. Trust me. The route is not for the faint hearted.
Read the first page n do your research.

1) Registration for the exam is 89500 NGN

2) Just a valid international passport

3) I also do not know where to start, getting a care job with COS is quite difficult

Did your recruiter reject your IELTS UKVI Academic, who said its an error for HCA English proficiency?

You must use UKVI IELTS to apply unless you want to suffer and have your visa refused

UKVI IELTS, TB Test Police report is a COMPULSORY requirement for tier 2 visa
You can only use proficiency letter to prove your English knowledge if you are going for studies
Go to gov.uk , all the information you need for your visa application is here

Your employer is asking for the government approved IELTS result which is UKVI IELTS(Either general or academic is acceptable, but most people go for general )

Best sit for the UKVI IELTS because proficiency letter won't do anything except if you want to use it for NARIC and NARIC doesn't accept HND to the best of my knowledge. Maybe try with your PgD?

I don't think so, cos you did your degree there and obviously it was thought in English language.
