Unfortunately, the delegates who have the responsibility to pick the flagbearer only respond to cash politics. And Obi doesn't seem like the type to throw cash around.

All these are exercise in futility. Let Obi slug it out in the primaries first because the power resides in the delegates. To be honest, I dont see Obi winning PDP primaries. Even if he does, his chances of winning presidential election in Nigeria is very slim due to several factors. In a contest that involves Obi and Osinbajo, the latter will win, even if its against Tinubu, Tinubu will still win. Obi looks like a regional politician who has not been able to spread his tentacles and structures to the core north and this will definitely work against him.
