Your money is gone. The agent is not responsible for the boys, remember, he's just an agent.

2. You LL spend more than 25k chasing the case that seems to lead to no where

Consider it a good will donation. Trying to recover 25K in Nigeria is more trouble than it is worth. I am also sure Police will be asking you for 30K under the table. Such is life in a shit.hole. I got duped for 3M and police took 100K before they even put any efforts in, Lawyers got another 200K and all I could recover when said and done was 700K. The rest is pretty much considered goodwill on my end. Just lesson learned.

If u arrested the boy, u will end up spending more than 25k. Just accept your fault and move on, the money was carelessly kept as someone told you earlier

If you had any Formal document that shows a Contract between you and the Agent, use that to file a complaint with the Police.

He must provide them or he pays the Missing amount.

For the Agent to to say he filled wrong information is a Crime on its own

Primarily get the Agent Arrested, simple and short, every other move is secondary.

Sir, to be honest lets assume they played a fast one on you. However I will advice you to live vengeance to God, otherwise what you would incure in chasing that case may end up well over 25,000 naira, your time, your energy, the risk of losing more money running up and down rather than focusing on your business. I suggest you get new boys, place advert in your church and get referees append their signatures to whoever would make the list so this doesn't happen again.

move on bro, the money is not worth the stress of arrest. You will spend more trying to get them arrested

Lalalista, you will need another 25k to arrest the boys and another 25k to keep them in the cell for 2 days before their families come to your house to beg you or contribute another 50k to bail them.

In the end, police will cash out from both the accused and the “accuser”.

Nigeria Police is the winner here. Sorry. If you are rich enough to lose 50k or more to the police then go ahead and arrest them. If not, move on. Next time, don’t let your workers go near your money.

Personally, I would advise you to forefeit the money since it’s not much, reason is that you would spend more than 25k to get the Police to act and get the boy arrested, you would also spend money to hire a lawyer. But if you still want to teach them a lesson then you can go ahead but trust me, it’s not worth it
