Natasha Akpoti has won the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), primary election for Kogi Central Senatorial District.

Akpoti defeated Mamud Attah by 159 to 13 votes to pick the PDP ticket.

Natasha while speaking after she was declared the winner, extended the olive branch to her co-contestants, urging them to join hands to win the general election.

She also commended the peaceful conduct of the primary assuring people of her senatorial districts of effective representation if elected in 2023.
