A lot of alternatives out there, I use all. Whatsapp Aero, Blue WhatsApp, FM WhatsApp, Whatsapp Plus, OG Whatsapp etcetera etcetera.. in all, Blue remains my fav.

You can't Back up to gmail

You are not too sure your conversations are not monitored

You care less if the so called features you enjoyed in GB WhatsApp have malicious wares installed in them to monitor your secret info on phones

You care less of other people's privacy, why would someone who mistakenly sent something to you, realizes that ad immediately deletes it, and then your GB WhatsApp still gives you access to the deleted file?

I hate that GB WhatsApp to death.

I always think if Facebook or meta family decides to finally block gn WhatsApp from contacting real WhatsApp users, they can, but they need them for now to publicize WhatsApp and to steal people's idea.
