It is not so. Ukwa-Ngwa may hv 9 LGAs, which is even dominated in population by people from Old Bende area. Note: voting power lies with people of O'Bende who are scattered all over the state in large numbers. If the elections were to be free and fair, O'Bende will always hv their way to the Abia Gov't House.

Lagos State has the most registered population but Kano State has the most active population. This is what applies in Abia State with regards to Obingwa LGA active voting population.

Where are they? In Aba North and South that couldn't cast half of what Obingwa voters always do.

Old Bende is different from Igbo people from Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra States living in Abia State especially in Aba who don't care to vote on election day.

Ebisie (Ngwa) and Mascot Kalu (Bende) contested for Aba Federal Constituency recently when the former Rep, Ossy Prestige died during COVID-19 lockdown and the battle was between Old Bende and Ngwa people during the election yet Mascot couldn't get a quarter of Ebisie's votes.
