Obi is a smart man. This is the smartest move I have seen in Nigeria politics in a long time. It is like the game of chess, you make a move with a knight that gives u an opportunity to check mate with the king or the queen, either ways it gives u an upper hand.

Whether we admit it or not, the PDP just lost millions of vote, and as the major opposition party, it is a huge blow to the party. Obi knows that his only chance of winning any primaries will not be the PDP or APC thus, he has carried his multitude of voters straight to nnpp which I am sure he will move to.
