Meetings were held with governors, national assembly members,elders and founding fathers of the party and all the aspirants for the chairmanship seat.

If all of that can happen before consensus for national chairman, then you can imagine the series of meetings that would've been held by now for the highly contested presidential ticket. If such high level meetings are not holding now and he's leaving the country then just forget about it.
