If I were him, I'd retreat, reflect and think about ways I'd take advantage of the exposure and support I've garnered and mount a credible 'assault' come 2027. Like it or not, the man Peter Obi is already a household name, and it'll only get better from here. But, as far 2023 goes, he's done.

Your views are right and I am sure that's what he is doing. He has joined a party where he has a bigger chance of protecting the values and ideas he believes in come 2027, but ofcourse he has to start now, when people see what he can do now with his popularity, more people will favour his party in 2027. It's not a do or die for that man, I believe he is trying to give us a viable alternative come 2027....I would have agreed with you if he joined APGA. With ZLP he has a chance of birthing something that could be a force come 2027, a party that is not regional in outlook.
