That alone would change the manufacturing landscape of Nigeria, and position it for the benefit that a country of its size and resilient citizens are noted for globally.

We all know, but talk is cheap, electricity must be handled from the wards, Local Governments, then States, Federal can only create policies & assist with infrastructure, especially in renewable energy infrastructure.

Each state will handle its infrastructure according to its needs, you can’t put an industrial state like Lagos that may need 43mw compared to Yobe State that may need 6mw, & generalize it @ Federal level.

Selfish man you are only speaking for yourself, Oga, I lived in the United States, United Kingdom, you dare not leave your lights on, or heater on during winter, or your ac on during summertime, when the electricity or gas bill comes you start paying in installments.

The only reason there is no electricity in Nigeria today, is the society doesn’t want to pay market price or above, same with petroleum products, I believe Nigeria has one of the lowest electricity tariffs in West Africa, same as Petroleum products, that is why smuggling of refined petroleum is a very serious issue for us.

Let the tariffs for electricity be increased by 7%, You will see foreign investors come with innovation & change the sector one Local Government @ a time, but no the people are too poor & Selfish, they would rather buy petrol & use generator for their house, than pay the actual price for the society in general.

For your information, na the rich people bypass meter pass for Nigeria.
