Pls what's the disadvantages of the Samsung s9+ being outdated..
Can i still buy and enjoy it without any issue?I'm afraid of buying bcus i don't kn about it, i read from google that Samsung Galaxy s8 plus is already outdated so i need to kn if there's nothing wrong with it being outdated

Snapdragon 845 is still very powerful.

If Software update won't be a problem to you, it is a good choice - better than so many newly released devices of today.

Talking about software, you can install Custom Roms if you want to.

I'm currently using s9+ and I can tell you for a fact it is by far better than these newly manufactured android devices.

S9+ Snapdragon version is stucked at Android 10. So if you wanna buy get the Exynos version it's also stuck at Android 10 but the good thing is that you can root it as and Flash custom ROM, something you can't do with the Snapdragon version.

You won't be able to experience and update to the latest Android OS

Tnx....i will go for it as much as the software update won't stop me from enjoying the features but only that i wont be able to upgrade to a newer software version, moreover since i started using Android phone i never did a software upgrade before cus i hv also heard so many complaint from friends that when they did an upgrade to nd there phone start malfunctioning nd even hang

To be on a safe side, buy the S10 plus. It's way better than the S9+, plus you get an awesome battery life.

If you've got a couple more cash to spare, go for the S10 plus

I have a budget of 120-130k phone, so i think s9+ will be okay cus i hv seen the price on jumia but another issue i hv is if the battery duration is good as i never used it before, although some phone might have 3500mah but will last longer than some phone with 4500mah

If we're talking Samsung, 4000Mah is the minimum battery capacity I'd settle for. I don't know if you're as much of a heavy user as I am though.

For sure I'm always online steady, my phone is my companion, if the s9+ battery can serve for active 12hours a day then I'm good to go although i do have steady light here but Nigerian light can not be trusted �
