Like it's said in local parlance Northerners Don run Southerners street. cheesy

Below is my opinion on 2023 elections

Atiku - Peter Obi for a PDP win.
He's a strong candidate with political tentacles spread across the country. He'll pacify Ohaneze to bring back Peter Obi to PDP for block SE votes

Osinbajo - Northern Vp if Buhari / APC genuinely wants its own candidate to win.
However I think APC Northern faction will work for Atiku becoming president in order to retain power in the North thereby destroying the party for new realignments in PDP.

Tambuwal stepping down for Atiku is a pointer to the fact that Northerners always supports their own unlike Southerners disunity.

The other option is for GEJ's return to power through APC ticket as he's another Southern candidate and a Christian whom the North considers trustworthy, ran a better government that the disaster of Buhari administration even though they humiliated him out of power. But it will be foolish of him to consider such option.

As far as 2023 is concerned Northern politicians are only after power and wouldn't mind destroying APC to get it.

In conclusion a Northern APC Presidential candidate shouldn't be ruled out as it will be a win win and a masterstroke checkmate as things are now. The North has perfected everything as far as 2003 is concerned as there's no stopping them now.

Southerners are now at the mercy of Northern politicians. Don't blame them but the foolish politicians from the South.

The low self esteem most Southerners display when politics is being discussed is sickening.

You're making the north what they are not indirectly. We are all joint partners in this country and not some master-slave arrangement.

These guys disgust me.

Agreed we are all joint partners but do Southerners have a common front?

It is Southern unity that can make naija a better place and I am a proponent of restructuring but the reality is we'll continue to make the North what they aren't until we unite with one voice.

Most people who want Osinbajo, Jonathan or Amaechi are PDP fans. None of them will be in the race by 1pm. Even Atiku knows! Jonathan who tried to violate his agreement with the North for one term is the one U say the North will trust? Yeye!

As long as Southerners allow themselves to be misled by misfits who prioritize selfish gains rather than look out for the people, have no ideology whatsoever, the average Southerner would be a 2nd class citizen in this country. Hard truth!

I'm from the Midwest (paternal) and partly from the North. Born and raised in the North.
Presently been in the South for just a few years and I clearly see the difference.

Only a very few have the interest of their people and party at heart an example is Wike. Another is Aketi.

I am Yoruba, not aligned to any political party or politician but If I have to vote for a Presidential candidate it will be Peter Obi as it consider it the right thing.

Recent infos, allegations of GEJ romance and meetings with APC leadership is pointer to a likelihood of northern support for his comeback but Atiku's emergence is a game changer. And like I opined are we sure APC North won't prefer Atiku to a southern candidate?

Anyway let's see as the game pans out

Try to talk to a Northerner from NW or NC. They do not like Atiku. It's not about propaganda; Try to confirm yourself. Most Northerners call him a thief who has never sacrificed anything for others.

Only the core tribalists will vote Atiku in the North. As long as they want a united Nigeria, they will vote for a Southerner they trust. Emphasis on Trust. Tinubu is the only Southerner the North feel they owe and should trust. Let's leave sentiments and bitterness apart; He's the only one Governors and Northern billionaires will genuinely work for and he has a better record of performance than Atiku. Don't believe online rants, talk to true Northerners and see.

I am not a mouthpiece for Atiku but if he is not loved in the North how come he came second during last election with the number of votes he got. And hope you are aware there are serious allegations of APC rigging buhari to power in 2019. And have you forgotten what APC did to former CJN Onnoghen and the insinuation of the reason for such?

And what about corruption allegations against Tinubu, health issues and the religious angle cos he's a Muslim and will majority of Northerners support a northern Christian VP? Wouldn't it be it better for him to support an Osinbajo candidacy?

As per performance there are other capable politicians. I believe South East should produce the next president and Peter Obi candidacy isn't a bad idea but I fear Labour Party doesn't have the structure to make it happen within the time frame.

If you like, be oduduwa.

Those who wishes for the downfall of APC will always want Tinubu schemed out of the race.

We're with BAT, he's the ONLY APC aspirant that can battle Atiku and win.

Ha has everything it takes
