It'll be too costly for power to remain in the North for obvious disqueitness and call for disintegration of this entity called Nigeria. Which SS will wike deliver. SS is not mono ethnic like SW and SE and always suspect each other. Can wike deliver cross river after insulting their current and past governors.
Can wike deliver akwaibom with his problem with akpabio and try to factionalise PDP in akwaibom under udom.
Can wike deliver Delta and bayelsa when he has problems with ijaws and not in good terms with okowa.

You are very correct, my thought too, they APC planned to field GEJ if any southerner with formidable force emerges from the PDP but they played on them on that one, d only force that can beat any flag bearer in APC is ATIKU and the PDP knew that, due to hate for s Igbos, they schemed out Peter OBi instead of supporting him, and he calculated well and left to fight for himself and if nothing see how saleable he is in Nigeria on his own unlike as a VP to anyone, he joined LP, now APC, will have no option than to field a northerner or Osinbajo or Tinubu, but both of their votes will be divided, if Tinubu SS and SE will vote against him, if Osinbajo same cos he's part of d failed administration, if north, same cos they will rather vote Atiku, if GEJ, SS will vote him but SE may not, he did nothing for them d last time they supported him n wike's insult to OBi has killed the SE vote for GEJ now, so d only option is to field a Northener to contest with Atiku and Obi which of course SE will vote for him, SS may or may not, while SW will rather die than to vote a SE. The piece by FFK is full of contradiction. According to PDP is not just to the Igbos yet he is supporting Yahya Bello not an Igbo man.
He claims that three geo-political zones: east, north central and north east all deserve to be allowed to rule Nigeria because they have never done so since our return to democracy yet he opposes Atiku who is the north east zone that has never produced a president.

The PDP disappointed the South East. They should have given them the mandate even though they would lose eventually. It's a huge mark of loyalty. But no, they chose Atiku, who will lose by the looks of things. PDP will regret this action before August, quote me.

The dominant party in the East before lately is APGA, So when do they serve PDP up to 23 years from 1999 or mathematics rule has changed?

Moreover, zoning is a gentleman arrangements and not embedded in our constitution hence the jettison by parties any time.

After OBJ that Yar'adua could not last GEJ had to complete the regime but after that what happened? The south still have it in the person of GEJ again. The north endured it till they came out stronger to oppose GEJ's stylish third term. So what are we saying in Atiku having it today, lets assume he will even win.

The south East supposed to negotiate with Atiku to choose a South Easterner as vice, then groom and hand over to him after a 4 years tenure then the power equation naturally balance itself between south and North and even south East and north East all together. It's obvious Ure young and do not know history. The North has always voted for Southerners when it's glaring that it is the turn of the South. MKO defeated Tofar in his hometown and Jonathan got millions of votes in the North when Atiku and Buhari contested.

Also, once the North doesn't trust a Northern candidate and they see a Southerner who they trust to protect their interests, they will split the votes or even vote more for the Southerner. Check Google and see that the idea that a Northerner always wins in the North is a myth.

On the Federal level, there is no place for an Igbo man in politics.
Yet they wouldn't let these people go and rule over themselves.
