The BLS website showed on Wednesday that my passport was ready to be dispatched and the courier delivered it today (2 days later).

I got the visa. They gave the visa for one month, from the exact date of travel to Spain to the following month which is fine by me (about 30 days).

I have travel history to the UK and Canada, but not to the Schengen countries.
So I completed the application form (both in English and Spanish).
My family in the UK had booked the flight and hotel as it's a family holiday with my family that lives in the UK.
I didn't book any tourist attractions but I just stated on my application form the places I would go. I only listed places one could go for free e.g Plaza Mayor, Museo del Prado (I just checked on Google for free tourist attractions). This may not work for everyone though.

I had just a bit over N10,000,000 in my account but this includes shares account. I submitted all my bank statements, shares account statement.

Frequent traveler but I've never applied through BLS. I provided all the documents listed that pertains to me (except leave letter), nothing extra added. After 9 days my status changed to "ready to be dispatched", three days later i received the passport. I hope this helps someone. x

hello pls I have booked appointment since April but not gotten appointment date or booking receipt since … is there anyone having same issue

people were paying like 40k to 50k to get an appointment now, japa don turn hot cake for embassy. I'm not very sure about bls but you will pay to get a slot at France embassy.
