Tambuwal did the right thing for PDP. I have said it many times it is not a Northern agenda or a Northern gangup, it was a winning gangup because the truth is Wike cannot win nationally. I have posted this before: Atiku was not endorsed by the Northern cabals, their candidate was Saraki and Bala Mohammed. I have also posted that Dino confirmed that Katsina and Kano (2 of the highest voter delegates) voted for Wike. It was when Tambuwal and Atiku saw that Wike would win and hence PDp would lose the 20232 election that they made a deal. ther is no northern conspiracy unfortunately southerners are too emotional to see sense.

The North are just as divided as the south. It is always the south that sell themselves to the North. If the south voted for Wike as agreed Wike would have won because he had support in the North, unfortunately after shouting power shift, many states in the south sold themselves to Atiku. The reality is Atiku is the only person that can win for PDP so while I understand why Tambuwal and some southern states went with Atiku, there was also a clear betrayal and hypocrisy from the south because if you truly beleive in a cause then put your votes behind it.
Most nairalanders and Nigerian youths have shallow brains. Even after all these explanation, they will still be shouting betrayal betrayal bla bla bla. U r just wasting your energy, the average black man especially Nigerian youth thinks shallowly

My brother try and read in btw the line, APC will fail if tinubu win their primary. That is what this guy is indirectly trying to say they have the numbers and they support their own
i read the lines not in between. He has no valid reason for betraying his friend saying South candidates in PDP can't win election. He should have said that earlier, not at the last minute. He obviously had it in plan and ideology.
As for APC, Tinubu is their strongest candidate. They don't have any northern candidate that can stand Atiku. Who is Lawan? Lawan can't even come first 3 in the normal primaries if Atiku didn't win PDP primary. Only Tinubu unfortunately has what it takes in the North to stand. Then he needs to unite the south, that's all. i hope it doesn't get too dirty though.

Demography you said, but Goodluck Johnathan contested against the same Buhari from kastina and won. You would have just say north is milking the southern division and nothing else.

Re: Why I Stepped Down For Atiku - Tambuwal (Video) by muykem: 2:53pm On May 31, 2022
Can you see foolish excuse. Assuming PDP win election in 2023, by 2031 when PDP is considering of zone the seat to south, APC will tell us the same story that winning election for the party is most important than zoning so they will produce Northern candidate also. The cycle will continue and South will remain second class citizen.

Story

But if the South gave atiku/PDP the highest votes again next year, then the north, especially PDP will forever take them as slaves.
The east must not give atiku 50k votes, and SS must not give them 50k too.
North feels only them can win elections in Nigeria. PDP is very funny, although I don't trust eastern voters anyway, but vote obi if you don't want apc.. Voting atiku makes you a perpetual looser, of course a slave after 24 years of laboring for them.. Be wise

Vote whoever you want
Bro no need to be sentimental, I am from the south south but I know the only way PDP have a chance is atiku. Apc is playing a chest game. If obi had emerge, APC might be fighting to field osibanjo which I don't think they would have succeed because I don't think he can match bat. Tinubu is going to win apc primary, then it will be a match of the heavy weights. You win the election before talking of power sharing.

This Analysis is why north will hold power forever. Of course you're of the opinion that only north can win election. So when will south win??

A permutation that suit the North...

Will the PDP still get more votes than the Labour Party (Peter Obi) this time...?

Deciding to go on another 8 years under another fulani (Cameroonian) man because of hatred for their afonja neighbours...?

Deji Adeyanju, the advocate of the igbo presidency, has he dumped the PDP for the LP to ascertain his equity dream or it was all a wash...?

Na questions I dey ask o...!

The South doesn't come out to vote, unlike Northerners..
That doesn't mean they don't have the population..
Anambra has more than 2million registered voters..
Less than 300k ,cast their vote in the last gubernatorial elections..
Technically, you're on the same page with me. The south show apathy with their cards which is as good as not having it at all. While down there in the north, they turn up in their numbers to vote, hence the reason why they're chosen over us. Brothers will always come out en masse to cast votes for their brothers. That's not the case with us here in south.

No matter the grammar Tambuwal speaks, he should pray Wike doesn't pay him and the Southern governors in their own coin.

Like Wike, betrayal is not in my blood. But if Wike decides to direct his support to another party or candidate, I will follow.
The main reason why I am not supporting Osinbajo.

I hate betrayals with passion.

Although, Wike himself was a betrayal to Amaechi

My vote and my household is for Peter Obi the must qualified candidate among all of them. All the rest of them were power mongers, they want the power not to make any meaningful impart that we Nigeria expect. If he lose ,no problem,at least my conscience will be cleared that i did right thing.
If south can be unite vote for any southerner in any party of your choice, all these Northerner politician will understand that we fairness and equity to make a country.

Wike should support Peter Obi.
We can't allow northerners to lead Nigeria again, they have taken us 100 years backward.

With Peter Obi, Nigeria economy will be restored.
As an economist, Peter Obi will take Nigeria to greater heights.

IT IS NOT PDP THAT BROUGHT OUT ATIKU. IT IS THE ENTIRE NORTH. APC TOO ARE INVOLVED

When it comes to Nigerian politics the North has no political affiliation. It is just the North-South syndrome they are aware of and can do anything to support ''their own'' irrespective of which party they claim.

I have carefully followed the pre and post 1914 almalgamation politics in Nigeria. The North knows not anything called North Central, North East and North West - they have only one thing in mind THE NORTH. Revolution failed, coup failed, civil war failed all because of the united North and the fragmented South.

Don't be carried away by Wike's 200 plus vote. It is as useless as Udom's 30 plus. They were all used. They made it appear like a stiff competition.

What the North will do will be to bring out one imbecilic candidate from the South to be APC flagbearer while all of them pull resources from both APC and PDP to secretly support Atiku.

They are so resolate that power shouldn't shift to the South.

Atiku, Buhari and all the Northern stronghold are working together on this.

The south should for the first time ignore party and regional sentiment and support one Southern candidate to ensure power shifts.

My name is Id Oduok
Read this and have peace.

If Peter obi does not win this election, which likely, he may not. Then expect him to decamp to pdp with his new found loyalists in labour party. I think he's going there to swell his numbers and foot soldiers ahead of 2027. Highly likely though. And if pdp eventually wins the presidential election, it will further bolster his chances of winning 2027. Sure atiku will only observe a term, if eventually he wins. Else he's asking for trouble. Now Peter must fight tooth and nail to be the flag bearer for pdp come 2027. P.O winning this election his highly unlikely.

Go check the figures of past elections and come back here and tell me the region with more votes. The margin with which they dominate is overwhelming. Perhaps the southerners can do better, but the apathy they show to elections speaks volume.

By asking about zoning or winning, Tambuwal was already offending the senses of the southerners who know that the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers is what makes Arewa politicians champions of winning presidential elections in Nigeria. Bunkum.
