infact
I honestly hate that statement as well.

Obi's popularity is hitting the zenith

While Tinubu is crashing with his corrupt cases and forgery allegation, not forgetting his greed and betrayal of south

Peter Obi for President is a task achievable by sensible Nigerians

How many northerners will vote for Peter Obi?

All they need to tell them in the mosque is that a Pastor is coming to rule Nigeria....then majority of the northern Muslims will not vote for Osibanjo.

For me, it is Peter Obi or Yemi Osibanjo.

Sad reality?

These two are going nowhere.

To say Tinubu is only popular in southwest is sentimental and biased. Peter Obi is popular in the southwest and some parts of the North. You said Tinubu will be stoned with pure water if he comes to the east which means they know him very well but hate him. We are talking of popularity. Let me burst ur brain. Many secondary schools students in the North Sothsouth and southeast will know the name of Lagos state governor for instance than other states outside their respective regions. Sentiment apart Tinubu is popular nationwide and not just Yoruba land alone. Just Like the way Atiku is popular nationwide.
They know Tinubu as a thief like James Ibori, or can he brag about anything he did that affected them personally?

If you knew the population of Christians in the North, especially the North Central, plus the entire South: which is largely Christian dominated in at least 13 states, you would keep quiet.

We have: Ekiti, Ondo (majorly Christian states) in Yoruba land, the rest 4 are 50-50 at most, the SE is 99% Christian dominated and despite their preference for Obi, so many are willing to vote for Osinbajo, the SS is purely Christian, so what are you all saying?

Religion aside, a lot of educated, well-meaning and non-politically partisan Nigerians don't even believe in Tinubu due to his corruption-related antecedents and also because he is ailing.

Osinbajo is the surest bet for APC.

So you want Osinbajo to be a Christian president?

Why emphasis on Christian's votes in a secular country like Nigeria. This is number 1 reason his emergence as president will lead the country into state of anarchy and war.

Is like most of you guys want a president that will take us back to Military rule.

The 12 APC Governors in Northern Nigeria, will bury that rhetoric talk & deliver their states to APC by hook or by crook to President Osinbajo, after the elections pdp & Atiku can go & report to the Supreme Court about electoral fraud that occurred.

Aside rivers state where is Amaechi known again?
Even in rivers his legs are shaking

Don’t forget atiku has been around since early 90’s n same with tinubu during d nadeco era so both have come a long way.

How many governors can d likes of Amaechi n co control to do their bidding?
How many senators do they have on speed dial?
Any other apc aspirants will b thrashed like paper here

Wealth wise - Amaechi na better money bag compared to osinbajo n with real stats d Amaechi we know can’t stand atiku dollar for dollar even rivers state bullion van just collect finish from atiku hand despite oil money at his disposal (wike)

Dollar for dollar tinubu will give atiku a run for his money

For people who are willing to counter come with facts n not emotions or hear say
Some of you will just make incoherent analysis. One thing is sure, the north will not trade any viable political post in favour of christain community there. They are more comfortable giving political position to their muslims than northern christains. This is one thing that will work against Tinubu. If he tries choosing northern christain as vice, that will cut his vote to half. Again, if he tries choosing Muslim as running mate, the southern christains will revolt against such choice.
In a plural society like ours, where religion takes center stage, any party that joke with it, will have itself to blame.
Again, the north is not as gullible as you people may paint it. The north had voted southern christains three times to be president, and I am sure, they will do it again and again, so far it is a balanced choice and the people are competent.

These are two different cases.

1. Obasanjo is not a Pastor.

2. Obasanjo was the first shot at democracy...The dynamics has since changed.

When did VP Osinbajo know Christ?, General Obasanjo will tell you that he was already born again, during the civil war when he was shooting Biafrans upandan.

Truth be told. It's only Tinubu who can give Atiku a run for his money. The rest are just political light weight. If Tinubu get apc ticket, then this will be one of the keenly contested Presidential election in the history of Nigeria democracy. Nevertheless I believe Atiku will still carry the day because majority of the northern voters will vote base on religion and ethnic sentiment and not party base.

Tinubu has no advantage with respect to Atiku on religious ground.

Not really so. Yemi Osinbanjo is surprisingly loved by the entire South over and above his former boss Tinubu and Rotimi Amechi ( regarded as a sell out). What the South needs is someone that can defeat Atiku in the entire south. The East and South South where PDP has its strongest base are not happy with how he bribed his way to get the ticket and are ready to vote APC in the next election (after all their arch enemy- Buhari is not running again). However these people would however prefer Atiku over Tinubu for obvious reasons; there is an unsettled enmity with Tinubu and Rotimi Amechi over their role in 2015 election, they cant just forgive these two men.
Osinbanjo however does not have the baggage of two men. He will also make serious in-road in Middle Belt- North Central where most non Hausa Fulani Northern minorities reside. This means that Osinbanjo can get West (his region), East, South South and North Central. If he takes someone like Zulum from the North East then he can slug it out with Atiku. So I give it to Osinbanjo

You've been left behind, your analysis get k leg. Sha don't get hypertension when Osibanjo loses the primary grin

When APC eventually selects Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Federal Government machinery will come into play.

Which money, one week revenue from NNPC will finish Atiku & Tinubu’s money combined.

Landslide victory for APC, the same way no name Yaradua messed Atiku up in 2007, same scenario will play out again 2023.

APC is not ready to secede power & many of their members are not ready to go to prison, so by hook or by crook with military arrangement they must remain in power.

Pdp & Atiku have already drafted their petition to the Tribunal & Supreme Court.

Atiku is the next president. You think they don't know what they are doing?? Power will remain in the North.
Tinubu ha shot himself in the head because of his selfishness and power-drunkenness. 1. Removal of Ambode will haunt him like ghost. If Ambode happen to be the Lagos state governor, with his first term governance pattern, Lagossians could have voted tinubu 90%, but with this puppet, it is a doom.
Secondly, maltreatment of igbos in Lagos. Count how many igbo markets was burned or displaced. Agberos will do their own, and many more

Atiku Abubakar can never be President of Nigeria, as long as the likes of Obasanjo, Buhari & Babaginda are alive, he has been rejected by the Military since the 1990’s, even Obasanjo a Military man, made sure nothing for Atiku even as his Vice, President Buhari will maintain the status quo.
