Why did Udom not step down for Wike? If you call Tambuwa a betrayal, remember to also call out those in South who massively voted for Atilku
And why Wike not support Peter Obi when he know that it is the turn of South East to produce Presidency but instead of making use of the time he has to build bridges among the South he wasted it by insulting Peter Obi up and down........I am that Igbojew

So, that's why you betrayed Wikehuh
It is not betrayal, after all, there was no oral or written agreement between them. He was trying to be strategic because Wike cannot win presidential election. The game plan is to make APC lose power in 2023, and the only person that can do that is Atiku.

Southerners will have to learn their lessons. It seems using population as a yardstick for election is sometin we need to start questioninig. Upon d population dis set of region is d poorest and underdevelop. Restructuring/referedum is d solution

Take this or leave it, matured politics revolves around one of his sentences "we must first get power before sharing it".
lols the last time I checked Apc used buhari a northerner in 2015 to wrestle power out of good luck jonathan, " to first get the power"( using your words) wink...... this is 2022, APC now have the power, and with buhari 8years tenure coming to an end I believe going by your statement above and is :
"we must first get power before sharing it". One would have thought that the APC should be sharing the power to the southern part of the country by zoning it to that region by now, but is that the narrative on ground? off course not.

Barring any unforseen circumstances, by Throwing the ticket open and abandoning they earlier agreement on zoning(sharing) to the south, APC might likely retain and give there ticket to another Northerner.

I guess that is the definition of "we must first get power before sharing it". that you are talking about,......same faith befalls the PDP

So does it mean northerners can't vote for people in the SS/SE? Most they be the only ones to be voting for fulani northerners every time?

The same Tambuwal shouldn’t forget obj and Goodluck won against northern candidates. APC do not need to give a northerner their ticket, because it’s now easy for them to win with any of osibanjo or Tinubu. Failure to keep Kwankwaso and Peter obi should make the job extremely easy for APC, they are all hungry for power. When APC took power from PDP, so many people wanted to become president, tinubu wanted to be buhari vice but they knew it was going to take a lot of sacrifices to achieve that and they did.
You are right but with northers votes until we south needs to register and vote not sleeping ,watching football ,drinking on a day like that

How did he betrayed wike. Am from the south, is wike a presidential material. Can wike win election in any part of the northern state. Even in the ss, can wike win all the ss State. The governor did the right thing by stepping down for more formidable candidate. If pdp must to win, the party need somebody like Atiku to fly the flag. Today apc is jittery everywhere because of the winning of Atiku. Assuming reverse is the case and wike won the primary election, apc by now would have been celebrating. It would have be a total workover for them

Let's tell ourselves the truth as southerners....it is true and valid that to be in a position to share/zone power as a political party, you have to win that power first...Atiku appears to be the politician in PDP that can win the maximum number of votes across Nigeria today. ...it is not easy to get 11million votes against 14/15m of buhari/tinubu/incumbency/police/inec/military collabo

That's why education did not make the south, east, and the middle belt wise.look how Tambawal just delivered Political science lecture (Pol 101). Beyond sentiment fault what he just said, can't we learn?

This Analysis is why north will hold power forever. Of course you're of the opinion that only north can win election. So when will south win??
Nope that's the only card on the table considering the political situation on ground. Core politicians in the south even South East in the PDP knows this. Right power is balance towards the north because of apc style of government. Things need to balance first.

You're missing it, and na the iss with you people be that.. Pause and reason first..

OK, you want next agenda to be south east, it's fine, but what you do next year will determine that.. If you vote for atiku again, how do you want the rest of the south to vote for you when it's your turn? The time start now, do the right thing next year
Who did you yorubas vote in 2015 and 2019? Was it a Southerner? grin

Have you forgotten that Obj contested against his fellow southerner during his first tenure?

Yar'adua contested against his fellow Northerner too and won.

See, the legacy was laid during the first Tenure. Then, it became easier for the incumbent or the successor.

Instead of power to SW,Let it remain in the north forever....
Southern governors are noise makers, they made the last rant in Asaba some time ago yet it hold no water..
I will vote for atiku unless I have option of OBI ,AMAECHI or any other person from the north...
As for the west, its a nonono...
That is my gospel the till after election.

Na the southern greed amongst themselves be their main cash out sha.
Not what you think ok, in the last PDP presidential primary, North had more delegates than the entire South; this is also the same with APC presidential primary.

If South want it, we must get voters from Northern delegates, presidential primaries is by simple majority and not like the general election where 25% vote is needed from all region, thank you.

Story

But if the South gave atiku/PDP the highest votes again next year, then the north, especially PDP will forever take them as slaves.
The east must not give atiku 50k votes, and SS must not give them 50k too.
North feels only them can win elections in Nigeria. PDP is very funny, although I don't trust eastern voters anyway, but vote obi if you don't want apc.. Voting atiku makes you a perpetual looser, of course a slave after 24 years of laboring for them.. Be wise

Vote whoever you want
And who are you to tell the SS who to vote and who not to vote?
Re: Why I Stepped Down For Atiku - Tambuwal (Video) by Abemy(m): 7:34pm On May 31, 2022
So based on Tambuawal's analysis, the north will perpetually retain power?

It's clear in my statement if you read well, my point is clear enough. Support or not, it changes nothing as Yoruba will win if they are on the ballot and you no it.
It's just an advantage for you if you support them, but it's not a must as apc doesn't need it. Twice proven already. If you like realigh

Your computation is false. Not all the south would vote Obi. Many wil still vote pdp or APC.
The determinant is the candidate APC fields.
If they field Buhari's concensus candidate or Tinubu. At the end of the day, the north would vote north or who their elite tells them to vote.
