Most Nigerian boys are into fraud aka Yahoo.

Compare that with a lecturer who has paid his dues and has a wife and kids to cater to and at the same time trying to save for his kids future.

1. More students than lecturers. The small percentage of students who have flashy cars will present a false image. The vast majority of students get around by trekking.

2. The "rich" students don't have grown kids in secondary school or university. They only spend on girls and parties. They aren't faced with a tenth of the bills the lecturers pay.

Truth be said, Nigerian teachers in public schools are below standard. Really, they don't deserve more than they are presently paid. In fact, their salaries should be cut down and the useless ones should be sacked. They are not competent. This is the truth.
