Why can't the foolish girl compare the lecturers with her parents who are the same age group ? |

Ignorance at its height. The Girl that made this post is dim-witted with a CGP below 1.5 or sleeping & sorting lecturers for grades (I can guarantee you that). 90% of those Lecturers she is making fun of have built houses both in Town and village and have many plots of Land to their name. Their children are in better schools across the world and will graduate as professionals in various fields. Its a matter of responsibility, purpose and priority. Most of those students leave in hostels built by those lecturers. Most of those students will never build a house of their own. Most of those students might never graduate even if they do its by sorting and bribing their way through school. Most of those students have very poor parents who are still poor and hungry while their children drive push cars in school. Most of those students have nothing to their name apart from the the cars they flaunt in school (Foolish) Its a matter of responsibility, purpose and priority. |

Student that don't undertand diversity of meaning. Utilities and function. But concern themselves with prestige and luxury. Most lecturers are wise old master. This shouldn't be a concern, what these girls don't know is that most of those boys cruising big cars to the campus don't own them, most of them are from rich homes, and can afford to come to school with different cars within a week. Haven't you seen a lecturer coming to school with a simple and moderate car, while his boy rides in an exotic and expensive car, meanwhile the lecturer owns the car his boy rides to the campus. There are benefits boys too, who can afford any car of their choice, but some of these guys with rides on campus don't own them. |

Ferrytech:By most, having two cars in a rented apartment amounts to unplanned priorities. A car with a nice plan to have your own apartment is reasonable in all fronts. Also, the types and years of the cars matter much though. |

For a good reason, it's OK to make a video comparing students' and lecturers' cars but unfortunately there are so many people in Nigeria with the attitude of that low brained girl who made the video. |

EfonAlaaye2023:To put the record straight, most of those cars are not latest/fashionable nor brand new but cars bought secondhand, and very old. Cars like muscles/Voltrons are mostly '07 and '08 Camry models. From that to the newest models involves more than 12 years intervals, and absence of more cutting edge technology. If Nigeria was a working, good and nice country, most young guys won't like to be caught driving such old-model, and 'out-of-fashion' cars. |

Ferrytech:If the foregoing statement is true, I think personal reasons might be why you have not decided to live in your own apartment yet. Maybe the availability of land, or its proximity might be the deciding factor against building an apartment. But honestly, houses are among the best, and most secured investments in Nigeria, and by an immense extent the world at large. The fact of life is: If one fails to acquire(build or buy) an apartment at any given chance, he surely always lives to regret it later. |

Many students parking their cars are either masters or phd students and if you check, many of them are made before coming for such programmes, so bo big deal......... |
