Rapper Ikechukwu’s wife’s 14-year-old cousin allegedly beaten to death

Rapper turned actor Ikechukwu Onunaku has lamented the death of his wife’s 14-year-old cousin, Obinna Obiefuleh, who was allegedly beaten to death in Ideato in Imo State.

Ikechukwu cried out in an Instagram post on Thursday where he uploaded a video of the deceased at his wedding.

According to the rapper, the boy, an SS2 student Queen of the Holy Innocent Secondary School Ogwume in Ideato LGA, Imo State, was beaten up, bruised and found dead at 1 am in his boarding house.

The aggrieved actor who demanded justice for his cousin-in-law, described the circumstances surrounding the death as outrageous, adding that there were so many holes in the story.

He wrote: “This is so so sad. This is Obinna, 14 years of age, my inlaw, cousin to my wife. This footage is of him at my wedding. He Was found at 1 am dead in the boarding house of his school. Class – SS2, in senior hostel, Queen of the holy innocent secondary School Ogwume in Ideato lga.

The recent stories that were later found to either br distortions or even outright lies to influence easily hoodwinked social media users and play on the emotions of the public about events in some schools should tell sensible person that you shouldn't believe entirely the first side of a story on the social media.

The boarding school system has outlived its positive purpose.

Today, it is generating profits for the owners and providing parents the opportunity to outsource parental responsibilities.

Parents never learn. Stop sending your kids to boarding schools. I attended a boarding school for six years and i will never let any of my kids go to one.
Kids go through hell in such schools especially those younger ones who have never been without their parents.

Our boarding hostels and even hotels are becoming scarier and scarier everyday. This is so so sad. Please all parents should enforce day school for their kids. The atrocities of these boarding hostels are getting too much in recent times.
