My friend's 2 Android phones, laptop and Original school certs with International Passport just got stolen.

He is due to travel by July ending having gotten his visa.

He is devastated right now and suicidal.

Is there a way to track the phone to get the robber?


I once heard a thief was once tracked to his compound in Onitsha via a phone he stole.

Is that really possible?

Can the police, DSS, etc help?

Phones can be tracked once he has the IMEI and the serial number of the phone. He should check for the receipt and the culprit can be tracked. Easily at that self

It's done by an insider, possibly a close jealous friend that knows about his travel plans.

Two months ago, I was a victim of this same certificates theft, but I was able to track and recover everything.

Also be wary of fraudsters that'll capitalize on your problem to cash out. Tracking of devices like phone has to be done through a reliable source to avoid more loss.

I will give you a clue of a cyber tracker that might help .... search for chantient or something here on nairaland he seems to be good with things like this.

I pray the thief or THIEVES are apprehended because of the visa. And when they are Abeg give them a resonating blinding SLAP right between the eyes for me. I HATE criminals with a passion.
